How much did booking Wembley arena cost us Auntie beeb?

Fuck me, now Beckham and his fucking wife saying 'Remain'. Oh my life.

Beckham can live anywhere he wants when the UK gets even more of a sh1thole that it's becoming.
He doesn't have to worry about his neighbours, or schools or medical care..he's just worried that his business adventures abroad will have more red tape

I was listening to a person on the radio earlier today who was voting "leave"....when asked for her reason she said because there will be negative impact on the economy and that will cause a house market crash, which will make it easier to buy a house!.....I've heard lots of arguments over the past few weeks and some better than others but honestly never heard of someone wanting to vote leave "because" they want to damage the economy and have to start over....

Did they happen to live in London by any chance? That's where a correction will happen if immigration is controlled.

They are dangerous idiots. Fuck them now.

Careful you are talking about the eu here and of course nobody talks about the economic performance of the Europe Union. That's irrelevant.

There are two countries within the European Union doing well, U.K. And Germany

Other countries are struggling and saddled with debt

They have a currency they have no control over and are subject to the same central bank policies. So They try and balance centrally with one policy the German economy alongside the Greek economy

Unemployment particularly youth in Southern Europe is almost 50 percent

There is a migration of people from poorer countries to Northern European countries which will have long term implications for the poorer countries who are losing their best people.

Those who vote remain often do so on economic grounds but the economic reality of the eu is not an example to the world is it.

I have seen what the eu's screwed up policies have done here in Portugal first hand - a government brought to power propped up by the bloody communist party who are on a complete anti eu ticket, 50% youth unemployment and that's after the biggest exodus of youth in the last 5 years; across the border in Spain it's the same. Italy is on its knees but at least the Eastern Europeans are doing ok seeing as they started from a point of ground zero; their warm xenophobic racist cultures are a welcome addition to the eu family.

We're fortunate that we can buffer ourselves against these situations but seeing people's lives get shredded year after year is grim viewing that's why I don't want the uk to get caught up in this. Run Forrest run!

I agree Pam.....she made it clear she understood that voting out and damage to the economy were linked and happy to do so....dont think she understood that economy is linked to jobs, pensions, NHS, etc etc......seemed in her own little bubble and it kinda shocked me that she didnt care....

There are so many of them as well. Utterly reckless. And they all know better than the experts. Watch what happens to the markets on Friday morning if this mass ignorance prevails. And that will be just the beginning.

I really do believe with all my heart that the UK has the ingenuity, infrastructure, talent , diversity and Economic foundations to continue to work with the eu but thrive even further globally. If the eu wasn't such a basket case I would be remain but I know it doesn't work on so many levels and I would hate to see the uk become an even bigger appendix and I really fear that the uk will not have the escape velocity in 5 years time to avoid the inevitable eu economic stagnation, political extremism or impending federalism.

+1. Good post which conveys a lot of my reasons for voting leave

one minute dodgy dave says it will be at least 30 yrs before turkey join the eu the next minute he says vote in for the sake of your children and grandchildrens future, well 30yrs from now will be thier future but he dont give a fuck because in his words he wont be prime minister then! and that about sums him up

Everyone who's voting Remain is a genius and everyone who's voting Leave is an idiot. Yawn.

Odds getting longer for leave if anything, Even the leave campaign don't expect to win as there is no plan what to do next.
