In the debate on Cannel4 it doesn't look good for Brexit at the moment. Too many shouty people drowning out the leaver's points.

I trust them more than I trust the British electorate. The sheer ignorance and stupid populism on display is an embarrassment to a supposedly mature western democracy. The public face of Brexit are officious, mean-spirited, arseholes. Michael Gove, ffs. IDS? Boris Mad Dog Johnson? Fucking Forage?! And all oif them saying there will be some degree of recession if we vote for them. And yet people are quite fucking prepared to do so? Voting for a recession because some Polish people moved in up the street or because you are actyally gullible enough to think 12 million people from Turkey are about to show up in Dover? WTF is wrong with these people? It is worse than the Donald Trump Brigade. Is this some mass troll or something. Because that's what it looks like.

A vote for more insane Tory austerity. A right wing fucking coup and people are actually falling for it. It's fucking creepy is what it is.

bottom line is pam you or i could tar the inner brigade with the same brush, Cameron - how the fuck does he continue to con the general public you have the crankie from Scotland who's self centered on on thing and that's Scotland and the crackpot Labour leader 'well enough said' and the best of the bad bunch jumped ship 'IDS' there all liars, bloody good con men though,i wouldnt buy a second hand car off any of them

Rumors of a big poll lead from comres for remain to be revealed on news at 10 - I think it's the last poll of the elections...

Oh well was fun for a while.

@EalingBlue2

It's quite clear to me that you fundamentally don't understand what sovereignty is, either that, or you're deliberately muddying the waters.

But again, clearly, you base your whole argument around a false premise.

You've used an absolutely clear false dichotomy to found your entire argument:

We either accept being a vessel state of a globalist's wet dream, with little sovereignty - or we have complete sovereignty over every single facet of life and become an isolated backwater.

Neither are true.

Your whole argument for unrelenting globalism is rather depressing, frankly. Almost comes across as shilling.

We can find a balance which is best for Britain, and we can do it with a leave vote. And I hope we do.
With respect I don't think you understand the basics of the international world we live in and you treat sovereignty by a narrow historically dates definition.

There are elements to it that are aad but it's the world we live in, Australia is no different. But tomorrow's vote should be about a real vote and a fantasy vote on some naive assumption we can have something that just doesn't exist anymore is a waste and long term can only disappoint.

It is not a question of accepting it , it has long been accepted and from the minute you wake up to the minute you go to sleep unless you are some sort of western isle living hippy with no transport and electrics you will make decisions that only make it more and more true.

You can embrace the world for the exciting, magic, dangerous place that it is and build for your future by harnessing it or you can try and put your head in the sand and turn back the clock. There are no guarantees for the former but the only guarantee for the latter is you cannot change the tide we are in by a vote on something that is so tiny and irellevant to the overall issue .

You have a problem people deciding how they want to dress?
Shittest comeback ever.

8point #Remain lead over #Leave (54% to 46%) in final UK wide poll of #EUref campaign for @itvnews & @DailyMailUK

Well I'm voting IN as are the majority of people I know. I'm not a bigot though, can understand both sides to the argument. Just think a lot of the Brexiters have ulterior motives which is sad!

It is s fairly self evident fact that the continent with by far the highest gdp per capita will grow more slowly regardless . China adds the Swiss economy every year but as its economy is 85% bigger than 2008 to achieve the same the growth % will have nearly halved. Little in common with - except nearly everything we are ,from our genetics , our religions, our business structure to the origins of basics like our language

Also are you advocating we should've aimed for Asia and African style population growth in that time? So you not consider that two countries industrialising and adding the best part of a billion people like China and India have might be the driver of those figures Brexit all over take some stats that with unthinking critique look damning and sell the story.

How about Oceania and North America? Why isn't the EU growing as much as them?

I think the same about a lot of Remainers!

Jeremy Paxton is doing a terrible job chairing the debate on Channel 4. They are all shouting each other down just like in the House of Commons. Fucking hell why hasn't somebody twigged that it is possible to turn a mike off to stop some twat ranting. They should have turned Sadiq Khan's mike off when he started calling lies in the debate last night. Our TV debates are not enhancing people's knowledge of the issues at all.
