I might suggest that you fit in the same bracket - but I do not think that is fair on Pam who seems a bit more Tourette like rather than inanely repetitive.

There has been no substantial increase in immigration.

On average we have 330,000 net immigrants and migrants each year, that's roughly in line with most other western nations.

A problem Cameron saddled himself with is that during the general election he stated ridiculously low numbers he was aiming for which he could never meet.
 
If remain win and it looks like they might then the Tory parties days are numbered in it's present form. A top 48% of the vote to leave or anywhere near that figure is going to coalesce into a protest vote at the next general election. If I was a Tory MP in a marginal seat I'd be praying for a leave vote. At least with that there might be some way of salvaging something from the electorate at the next election. The repercussions of a remain vote are going to reach seismic proportions in the interim.

Johnson who used to be pro-EU, Corbyn who was anti-EU for years. Farage as you say is one of only a few that appears to have stayed on the same side throughout and I struggle to take him particularly seriously. I'm voting out tomorrow but I stopped listening to most of the high profile figures on this ages ago. Maybe Pam can make a last minute bid to change my mind ;)

Most politicians years ago changed from concerning themselves with is right for the country to what is right for the next news cycle and election.

The big decision Cameron and Johnson both had to make we're both made for personal political gain. Farage is a hater , a zealout of course he doesn't change he is far too one dimensional to do so.

Corbyn has been quiet for purely political reasons it's the only way he keeps his party together and he lets the torus do the fighting . Again in my view a sign of weakness not intelligence

People's experiences on the street tell them that there is a disconnect between the official figures and what they can see with their own eyes. Where are all the illegal immigrants? They can't hide.
 
I'll be glad when it's all over to be honest. No real strong feelings either way although my head has always gone with Remain. Either way, whatever the result, I just hope that the country goes ahead in a positive way. It seems to have been going through a schism in recent years and it needs to sort itself out once and for all.

If a Tory MP in a marginal seat can't beat a Corbyn led MP at the next election, they don't deserve to be in Parliament anyway.

Luckily we have a democracy in this Country!

Of course we do. It's just that the EU won't let us exercise it when it doesn't suit them. Like letting criminals have a vote. Cameron was against it but got overruled. So much for our 'democratically elected government' having any power to overrule Brussels.

I've not had any experiences with illegal immigrants. I do imagine it's a lot lower than other E.U. countries though.

As for normal immigration I think the cuts have taken a strain on services along with councils of large towns and cities that have never prepared well for an increase in the working population.
