Considering some of the bile i saw in this thread from a fair few "inners" aimed at those who dared to have an opposing view i fully expected some prickly touchy so and so's in this thread in the event we did leave. I am not interested in rubbing anyone's nose in it as tempting as it is with some posters on here, i doubt "vote leave" would be given the same considerations.

I will be totally honest, if we stayed i was half planning my move back to Austin. I wanted out that much i had taken small steps to doing it, i would not have moaned but accepted the democratic vote and left. Probably would have done already if it was less hassle to move a company to the usa.

I actually hope Cameron stays in his post because he is probably the most sensible option we have now. We are the fifth richest economy so this should count for something and rather than large companies taking their bats and balls home with them I can see other countries being brave enough to follow suit ! We will be ok, thrive even !

The breakdown of the results are that over 45's and those who finished education at 16 overwhelmingly voted for out.

The under 45's and those who did higher education voted for in.

Major cities, London, Manchester, Liverpool voted in. As did Scotland and the cities of Wales.
