Germany's youth football renaissance is something we should be learning from. Young players like Howedes, Reus, Gundogan, and Gotze who would get into England's side already weren't even on the pitch today. The only player of late we can hold high in comparison is Wilshere.
The richest league in the world cant be arsed

Down to Citys new academy to produce them

Not the Euros but Kolo scored for the Ivory Coast today in a World Cup qualifiers (2-2 against Morocco).

end of group stage

Have some faith in your national team. At least you are not England.

it´s a bayern team. And all bayern players look average (except Boateng maybe) Schweinsteiger isn´t even there

It was a typical first match of a tournament in a group like this when you cannot risk anything especially as you saw a couple of players before the match standing on the TVs watching what the Netherlands did...

For the Netherlands it will be live or die on Tuesday...

Oh - and it was a typical match like it is when Gomez is playing forward... I hope Löw let's Klose play Wednesday because that will be another match.

They have invested 100 millions in hundreds of youth camps and their teams are required to send players to those camps weekly.

They're still the luckiest lot ever..

i honestly cant work out how gomez scores so many goals. i'm all for these players who are immense in the box and shocking outside ( van nistleroy, inzaghi etc) but gomez doesnt seem to have the attributes that made these players great. his movement offers nothing, he feels abit static/ slow and as we saw against madrid and chelsea the boy can miss chances. im convinced edin would score tonnes at munich
