Hate to say it but Shay's having a 'mare of a tournament.

Nothing he could do about any of the goals and has made a lot of excellent saves to night. Some people just love to have a go.

A Shay on top of his form would have saved the first and fourth goals tonight. And even the first Croatian goal on sunday. Not a question of having a go; it saddens me to see a good servant of our club having, byhis high standards, a poor couple of games.

have they got a replacement for him?

The first goal had ridiculous speed off it, he was lucky to get his hands up. He had absolutely no chance with the 4th goal (he had just made a ridiculously good save 2 seconds before that)

The first Croatian goal was just like the Hart goal, he could not see it until it was too late.
He singlehandedly kept Villa up and was their best player without question come the end of the season.

Irish Macca back for a 5th stint ?
