Its crazy he was even there tbh. TAA is probably, other than Sam Johnstone, the least important player in the entire squad.
I don’t wish injury on anyone and hope he gets back to full fitness soon as possible, but if anyone was going to have to miss the tournament Trent is one of the most agreeable.
Gabby Agbonlahor and O’Hara made a fair point on talkshite, about Henderson being selfish knowing full well he isn’t gonna be fit for the first game.
Supposedly was gonna get some game time last night but told Southgate in the morning something wasn’t right, sent him off for a scan and he obviously didn’t get any minutes.
The more I think about it the stranger it seems, he isn’t fit, he’s more likely not to play than he is to play due to injury. It’s absolute madness to gamble on a player, who I wouldn’t say is a stand out, when there’s other fit players available. Same goes for Maguire aswell.
