I think we will beat Germany

All of Germany's big losses over the last few years have been to counter attacking sides, and that's what this England team is set up for, so it's not a bad match up.

Just a question of if they can execute the counter attacks properly when they come along, and if the defence can hold out long enough.

Germany is the weakest team from that group, so results have been kind to us. We play at Wembley, every chance.
1---0 England.
I think they played well against Portugal and with the Germans, they always go up the gears when they have too. Last night 7 minutes and they were out, but who was surprised when they got the goal? That would be no one. I absolutely think England could beat them. But that depends on who Southgate picks and therin lies your problem. You have the tools to do the job, but I'm sure you all fear he uses the wrong ones.

Some brilliant games to look forward to and now it's about whoever is picked to step up. We always lament our lack of class, but for you, I think it's worse, you have a good squad, so playing shite isn't on. For me, having ability, but not the right mind set or balls to produce their form would drive me fucking mental. As it does you lot.

Wouldn't be surprised if he starts Henderson in this ahead of Rice, for his experience. Assuming the back five stays the same and Phillips, Kane and Sterling will start, it only really leaves two places up for grabs for Foden, Grealish, Saka and Mount to contest.

No chance with Southgate, he'll pick a 352 next week, with 7 defensive players +Kane, and zero flair. A team to get a 0-0, and hope for penalties.
We can see it.

The knockout stages tactic of choice.
