Euro U21 Championships

Watching the U21's is mind numbingly boring, it looks like any natural flair a player may possess is coached out until they become predictable robotic players.

I'd take Carroll off and put Kane just behind Ings.

Kane is so isolated up there and Carroll can't link between midfield and striker.

Kane behind Ings would be a real threat. How many Premiership goals did they score last season?

Didn't really watch much of him at Celtic, but I thought I started to hear mentioned less and less in the second half the season. I remember watching the Celtic v Rangers cup game thinking it was odd he wasn't playing. But from you've said it makes sense now.

I'll also be intrigued with where he will go. Given his previous success in Holland, lack of success in the Prem (City/Stoke) and mixed experience in Scotland I wonder whether he might go back to a European league where it might be a little less physical or where he might get more time on the ball.

should have taken the players who quality to play ie Sterling, Barclay to give them tournament experience

Good to see Guidetti at least looking realtively fit and sharp, he's crtainly dropped plenty of timber since last pre-season when he chugging around like a sweaty cop who's heard the donut shops about to close.

Loftus-Cheek has looked good so far since coming on, looks miles better than Chalobah.

Chalobah looks average to me, just another 6 foot strong player. He's barely taken the ball off the defence and spread the play at all in the two games.

Watched 10 minutes of it........not good to watch.
