Euro U21 Final | England beat Spain

Where would he play? Upfront is out of the question (no way he's displacing Haaland or Alvarez), and he's not a CM. Out wide? Again, that's not his area. Hard to see him getting any meaningful game time; the Carabao Cup, maybe. Not sure he'd be satisfied with that, though.
You clearly know nothing about Palmer lol.

2 assists and a goal for treble winning Cole, not bad. Really hope we do loan him out this season could have a real stand out season and be ready to play for us more regularly if he gets a season playing every week.

His specialty is, as far as I am aware, playing through the middle. But let's go with the wide role, then? Would he displace Fode, or Grealish, or Mahrez (if the latter is still here, of course)? Not looking for an argument with you, by the way; honestly. I'm just curious as to how we'd give him enough game time to keep him happy. Barring injuries, he's unlikely to get into the PL or CL sides. That'd leave the domestic cups.

All credit to him for his performance this evening as well.

Pep won't be loaning him out, he likes him too much, he'll get more game time this year, Pep is doing exactly what he did with Phil.

Played very well today, both sides of the pitch too.

Nice to see Tommy get on as well, and he made a decent contribution in the short time he was on.

Any reason my thread was merged when it was created to discuss City u21 inclusion?
There were 2 conversations going on about the same thing so it seemed better to have it all in one thread, and lets face it, most of the subsequent comment has been about City's players anyway, all of who have given a good account of themselves here.
