Haha not quite that bad but it's the equivalent of old UEFA Cup pre 90s before the ECWC (European Cup Winners Cup) lost all it's prestige.

The intertoto was still going when all three competitions were about I think, it was just a mini meaningless tournament to see who qualified for UEFA Cup based on fair play I think.
