I mean they had spuds and the murderers together in a final a few years back- two teams that hadn't been champions of their own league for several lifetimes? Seriously what's to devalue??

It’s not been the Champions League since its inception. Or since the end of the European Cup, where only Champions could play in it.

Not sure about the battering as they don’t score shedloads but their Lge position and ability not to lose is clearly a strength - their home record is exceptional. I think UEFA would be delighted if they reached the final in their own ground. Imagine the scum and Spurs supporters travelling together from London airports and on trains?
