He had a whole season on the sidelines a few years before he joined us. Was never going to be the top striker and a 1 in 2 guy but he was certainly weakened by injuries.

Rafa wanted to sign him before this game.

Crikey this game is shit. What the heck were Villa playing at, losing both games against Olympiacos.
 
This has to be one of the most awful games I’ve seen ever.

City 0-0 Palace in about 92, morning kick off.
City 0-0 Sheff Utd on Pollock’s debut.
Hull 0-0 Torquay in about 2000.

Think the Hull game was the worst I’ve been at. One shot. Went out of the stadium.

This has been truly shite though.
