I know. Fortunately that’s not an issue. But thanks for clearing that up for those afflicted with that delusion.Growing your sides long and combing them over doesn't mean you aren't bald on top!

Massive disappointment to lose on penalties but for a team that cost 9.5M to get to a major European final is one of the biggest achievements ever in football, something that will never be done again. Rangers and also their impeccably well behaved enormous support can be proud.

Or they stay, watch what it looks like to win and become even more determined to win it next season.
It depends on how you are made up. If you can’t take losing, then you’ll scuttle off.No don't agree everyone has seen trophy lift's it's just bollocks. The winners don't give a fuck they've won, the losers just want to get out of there. Watching Chelsea win it last season didn't help us win it this season did it?

For others, it will drive them on.
Your CL point is moot as we didn’t reach the final, so we don’t know if it would have helped us or not. They were still focussed on getting to the final, not winning the competition.
Some people can take losing. Pep for instance. He uses it as fuel to get better. He doesn’t like it, but it is part of life.Nobody can take losing. If they have to stick around and pick up a pointless runners up medal so be it, but nobody would want to if they had the choice.
They are in a competitive sport they need no motivation to win.
So losing last year didn't drive us on to win it this year then did it? If so we wouldn't have collapsed in the last five minutes with another final in our grasp and lost it in extra time. So our bitter experience of watching Chelsea lift the trophy didn't help us one iota.

You do need motivation to win. Please see our raggy neighbours for evidence of that.
The sticking around to watch the trophy lift spurs the team on to never go through that again. We didn’t reach the final, so it didn’t come into play, hence the argument being moot.
Christ, are you a Celtic fan ? You certainly sound like one. You’re gutted we behaved impeccably. You wanted a riot and you’re beelin you didn’t get one.I mean, I suppose 'only' singing in support for terrorists and all the usual songbook can be counted as a success over not literally trashing a city however impeccable would be pushing it, or in another word lying.
