Fenerbahce, Athletic Bilbao, Leverkusen, Lazio, Liverpool, Valencia, Shakhtar Donetsk, Dortmund, Sevilla, Villarreal, Tottenham, Braga, Olympiakos/Anderlecht, Basel, Sparta Prague are the teams through.

So they'll draw anyone from the last 4.

Keeping van Gaal in a job is a plus, but I don't think it's a competition they don't want to be in. Winning it is arguably their best chance of CL football next season.

The biggest plus for me is that they play on the Thursday before the derby.

I've heard some shite spouted about that lot but this has taken it even further tonight. Midgets were conference quality at best and they make it out like they just beat Barca with a 5 goal stormer. Fuck me sideways

I completely agree, cleavers.

An exit would have been hilarious, but their continued participation gives them more games to play, the most significant of which is their Europa League tie on 17th March.
 
Klopp comparing Liverpool's game to ours??? Seems like he has his eyes firmly on City as the team to aspire to.
