Just seen the replay and it was at least a yard. Two questions, how can the linesman miss that and why no VAR in a major UEFA competition. Rennes will be justifiably aggrieved if they go out to that goal (although I suspect Arsenal have a few more in them in the second half).

He does, but he's still a significant upgrade on the likes of Squillaci, Mertesacker (his last two seasons), Holding, Chambers etc No idea why they've got such a problem with him specifically.

I think he’s a brilliant player, always looks like he could unlock a defence as much as make an error.
I think blues would appreciate him more and shrug their shoulders at the odd mistake.
If he played for us, I don’t think there would be any mistakes tbf.
