I agree we need to win a European trophy and boost our rankings. Plus some good trips too. I would love something like:

Last 32 - Nice trip to Ajax
Last 16 - Nice trip to Hamburg
Quarters - Dismantle the fuck out of celtic home and away
Semis - Dismantle the fuck out the rags home and away
Final - Whoever, and win it.

This is absolute fantasy......like Celtic would EVER EVEN GET TO the 1/4 finals!!! LOL!!!!

In Mancini's own words and he is being an optimist, we have a 30% chance of staying in the Champions League so we should prepare ourselves for the Europa.

And I agree that the Europa League can be fun too although there won't be so many obscure teams left by the time we get into it and we could end up playing someone like Celtic, which would be fun.

The problem with Europa is if we want to win it we have to play 9 games as everything up until the final is two legs and 9 games adds a lot on to the season. If we end up playing too many fringe players like Bridge and the youngsters we might not last very long, Kiev showed us last year that there is quality in the Europa League although the cast doesn't look as impressive this season.

but surely if we were to have gone all the way in the CL it would have been 7 games, therefore we are only having 2 more than a successful CL run. We have the squad for it, I think we should go for it and must be strong favourites if we do enter it
