After this disastrous league campaign, for me its either the CL or nothing. I'd rather Pep have a season where he can repair the damage done to our squad and rebuild it in his own image with only domestic cup competitions as a distraction.

Next season could conceivably see City, ManUre and Chelsea with no European football which would mean a battle royal between Pep, Conte and Maureen fighting for the PL title. Whatever happens, this season has been a defining watershed which could change the footballing landscape forever.

Why I'm so fuckin pissed off is because we should have taken full advantage of this topsy turvy league and been well clear of the Euro-chasing scrum and champions, but thanks to our performances over the last two season, we're right back where we were 7 seasons ago in the thick of it all........ I missed the rule change about what happens if Palace lose at Wembley, but currently, City have only qualified for the 3rd qualifying round of the Europa League, and in a worst case scenario, this could easily happen.

And that is my biggest worry as it means the first game at the end of July. Not a biggie in some years but a potential bloody disaster in a year with Euros, Copa America and Olympics. Those tournaments will seriously hamper Pep's pre-season plans. Fifth will be disappointing but at least the group stages don't start until mid September.

Pellegrini would argue that we were trying to win at Southampton. Its a question of how hard we try to win it, particularly in the early stages. I would be surprised if Aguero made many trips to East Europe.

'Trying' involves more than just walking out onto the pitch. There's been way too many games where we played like all we had to do was turn up.

As for the Europa, I'd rather we fielded a squad team. Not worth jeopardising our league form by bothering with it.

with respect you don't have a clue what our club means to us. We've have waited decades to be this good and have these players. To not play those players in the Premier league is nothing short of criminal. We didn't buy them because we didn't need them we bought them because the other players did not fill their role sufficiently,had they done so we didn't need to buy them. Every single manager in the country would die for some of those players and we,or I should say he,is so arrogant he leaves them out. The other teams see that as taking the piss and in turn raise their game.look whare it has got us. The worse bit is he didn't learn,we've been in free fall for months. For him to come out now "missing the CL would be a disaster " is actually a fucking disgrace. Bye Manual and thanks for nothing,Mancini would have pissed that league this year.
