The two closest capital cities in the world. Little factoid there

Loved Bratislava, but small, but a two night stay is perfect. Well it would have been for me if the absolute sort I pulled didn't pass out on me in her dystopian soviet era tenement flat. Used up all my best patter in pulling her. I was on fire.

While she was comatose I polished off her non brand vodka. Must have gone out for a smoke and locked myself out as I woke in the morning in the corridor outside her flat.

Düsseldorf was a little bit too party for me. Music everywhere and stags too. Groups of boys from Manchester, Leeds, Sunderland etc. Altstadt (spelling) was lively.

Germany is indeed a wonderful country. Progressive, efficient, affordable etc.

but shit if disabled.

Not been to Valencia, nor Seville. They are on the list, but of the other three I prefer Malaga! Still got to remember my City scarf to put round Picasso's neck!

Had great breaks in Barcelona Madrid and especially Valencia

The best way to arrive in Venice is on a water taxi from the airport. Costs enough but you feel like James Bond. It’s just fantastic and you aren’t going to do it every week are you? Straight up the middle of the grand canal. Magic.
