European City Breaks

I go every year.
Done the water taxi, done the Aliguna water bus, now I just get the ATVO bus that takes 20 minutes to get to Piazza Roma.

Can anyone recommend Malmo? Considering basing there for the Euros should Wales get a match in Copenhagen.

Loved Budapest. The Ruin Bars in the Jewish Quarter were charming.

I need to get from Turin to Rome in June. If I use the train then I might take in another city on the way. Florence looks pretty.

Get yourself to Budapest mate, amazing City and cheap as chips ...
Im off again on boxing Day for the 3rd time... Anyone who's not been is missing out on a gem here..
True mate . I live 2 hours drive from Budapest and in my eyes the greatest city in the world

I would move there tomorrow mate, love the place, hope it doesn't get ruined by stag and hen doo wankers :-)
There is a lot over there and they can get rowdy but they also bring in a lot of money for Hungary so we can’t have it all . If you love Budapest you should try diff places like eger for the wine and a place called tokaj near where I live which is the home of desert wine .great country with a lot of history

I’ve decided two nights in Turin, two nights in Rome and two nights in Berlin for Italy v Wales next summer. I’d forgotten Mancini manages Italy!

I know Berlin OK but Turin and Rome are new ones.

I'm off to Turin in a couple of weeks, I'm looking forward to it, not been before. I've stayed in testaccio a couple of times when I've been to Rome, it's a cool part of the city.

Feedback on Turin, please. I’m unsure of the area my hotel is in for Rome but it appears very near the train station. I might book a flexi Turin hotel now...

Malmö is good, not so much so if you wear a daft bucket hat and are from Wales though; )

We drew Group A.

Lots of Swedes in Stockholm cheering Wales on v England in 2016. One supported Swansea.

We tend not to throw chairs around when we go abroad.

Just been last Thursday (to see Malmo v Dynamo Kyiv). I flew into Copenhagen and was on the train 12 minutes after the wheels had touched the ground - compared to the 60 mins it took at Manchester airport last night, but I digress.

Malmo is fine. Not terrible, but not great either. It was overcast with showers so maybe didn't see it at its best. There is an underwhelming castle, one skyscraper, couple of generic public squares, and a hipster food hall. Thats about it.

Food and drink were good, but Scandinavian prices are unavoidable. Think I paid the equivalent of £10 for a pint at one place.

Stockholm was dear yet still cheaper than that. You just headed out to the Sodermalm etc. I’m changing destination now to Turin then Rome then Berlin over six nights. All about the draw!
