European City Breaks

Bringing this one back to the top for recommendations.

Not like the OP who was after a lads trip, im after an European City break for me and the girlfriend.

Not the UK, Ireland, Spain, France or Italy, Maybe Germany but want to try more of the Scandinavian countries or similar.

Planning Prague for Christmas markets but after something for Autumn time. Not partially after sun and been to Iceland, Belgium, Berlin and Copenhagen.

Considering:
Cologne
Zurich or Geneva - Expensive?
Oslo
Stockholm
Poland - Dodgy? cheap? Not the camps
Austria

Tallinn in Estonia is a hidden gem great for a long weekend wouldn't go for longer though.

Stockholm is beautiful but expensive as fk.

Krakow in Poland is great Warsaw is shite both are far from dodgy though

Very wise.

Why not come to actual Glasgow and not Blackpool, where only our classless, unhinged, psychopathic one’s go. And to be fair, the men are just as bad.

I’ve spent plenty of my life up there, one of my jobs was running a 12 strong gang of Glaswegian scaffolders and used to have £12m deal with power jacks in Pestwo kids, was always entertaining :-)
Auto correct doesn’t like Prestwick for some reason
 
Short flight...Cork, Galway (Ryanair flight to Shannon and regular bus service to Galway which is a great compact city with some amazing places nearby)
Lads weekend, Hamburg or Stutgart beer fest ( not been to Munich but Stuttgart beerfest is good and cheaper)
On a buxget York.

go to helsinki and get the ferry to tallinn in estonia. 2 beautiful cities in one trip
georgia has some great places to visit and incredibly cheap
oslo is a beautiful city and the train to bergen is worth it just for the view alone
berlin is an amazing city and in a few hours you can be in prague
