European elections results

Wow it really is strange times when we agree on the last three posts.

Loads of shocks as both main parties are heading to oblivion as things stand over brexit.

Despite my hatred, and I mean hatred of Farage... the death of Labour and Tories isn’t a bad thing.

I had a minor argument, only minor, with my dear step mother. She is really what you’d class as centre/centre left and really dislikes Corbyn, yet will vote Labour every time no matter what.
The Greens could gain more support in local elections on pressing home the importance of the environment and protecting the green belt. The Lab/Con dominance of politics is ending and about time.

Did not expect the LibDems to poll this high and the Greens have been the big surprise across Europe. Fascinating. Also Tories lol.

UK (GB), 62% counted:

BREX-EFDD: 31.7%
LDEM-ALDE: 20.4%
LAB-S&D: 13.9%
GREENS-G/EFA: 12.1%
CON-ECR: 9.2%
SNP/PC-G/EFA: 4.4%
ChUK-ALDE/EPP: 3.5%
UKIP-ENF: 3.4%

I agree with that, it is about time.

A monopoly, or duopoly on politics, usually spells disaster at some point.

It is actually because what will replace them will not be moderate, and as you have always professed to be slightly left of centre I imagine you won't like it.

I disagree entirely.

Labour are being rejected because they are the extreme and not moderate.
