Where have you been around Europe, as the title says, to watch a match that didn't involve City?

Was it good?

Would you recommend going there?

How did you find the locals?

When i went to Ajax's stadium they were doing a rehearsal for the opening ceremony of the "gay games" and the tranny off eurovision, dana international, was singing

Went on a corporate trip to see Feyenoord - Chelsea some years back. Ended up in the same hotel as the Chelsea team. Fun place to go, and the only ground I've ever been in where the smell of dope hangs in the air.

Olympia Stadion in Berlin to watch Hertha several times and Alte Försterei to watch Union Berlin vs. Eintracht Frankfurt .
Hamburg's stadium a couple of times.
Hanover 96’s stadium, though I forget who the opponents were
And the Allianz Arena in München to watch 1860. Again, I can't remember the opponents.

I gad a great time on each occasion.

Greek 4th division, Parga v Corfu. Rocks were thrown at the players, and the local star striker was a pot-bellied pisshead. The pitch was dust, not grass.

I've seen Inter and AC play at the San Siro, Barca at the Camp Nou, Galatasaray in Istanbul, Corinthians in Sao Paulo and Greece entertain Denmark in Athens.

Monaco to watch them play some other froggies. It was many many years ago when on holiday.

How did I find the locals ? Well the guard on the train was a shit as he threw me and my mate off because we didn't have a ticket, it was in the middle of nowhere as well, bastard.

Pedantic time.

Monaco is not in France.
