European Stadiums You Have Visited to Watch a NON-City Match

Re: European Stadiums You Have Visited to Watch a NON-City M

FC Grenoble v FC Reims - French 1st division match & boring.
FC Zurich v FC St Gallen - Swiss 1st division match and not quite so boring.
Bayern v Bielefeld - At their old gound pre Olympic Stadium & even pre Bundesliga. OK
Greece v Kazakhstan - World Cup qualifier at Olympiakos's Karaiskakis Stadium. Bouncing.

Valencia vs leverkusen the night before our game against Villarreal. That is an incredible stadium and the stands are precariously steep.

I spent a week in Germany for the Bayern game earlier this season. I went to;

Nürnberg v Mainz,
Eintracht Frankfurt v Hoffenheim
Bayern U19 v City EDS (not strictly city)at the Grünwalder
Eintracht Frankfurt v APOEL Nicosia
Hertha Berlin v Werder Bremen

It was a fantastic trip and I've caught a bug so I'm itching to do another one this year.

I first went to the Mestalla, Valencia back in '99.

Valencia vs Rangers champions league. A cracking old style stadium that creates an atmosphere many new stadiums can't match. As cptaidan88 said, it's one hell of a steep ground inside!!

If you get a chance you really should go before their new ground (which looks amazing) finally opens.
As for the result, Valencia 2 Rangers 0

Re: European Stadiums You Have Visited to Watch a NON-City M

Most if not all of the grounds from the top 2 divisions in the Czech Republic. Mainly as I used to follow Bohemians home and away for the 7 years I lived there and they bounced between divisions in those days.

Most top division and a few lower division grounds in Portugal and Spain while following Boavista and Atletico Madrid respectively.

Genoa in Italy while I lived there.

Phuket FC in Thailand.
