European Stadiums You Have Visited to Watch a NON-City Match

Re: European Stadiums You Have Visited to Watch a NON-City M

Sparta Prague in Czech republic, and Brondby in Denmark in recent years. I've got no recollection of who their opposition was, I got quite drunk before and at both games. Bought the away shirt of each club at the grounds and still have them.

(on my phone and couldn't be arsed cutting the quote number down) Blue Mist - id've accepted Burnley as an answer! I'll be at Altrincham v Guiseley on Saturday but realise that one is a bridge too far ;) may your hangover be as minimalistic as possible good Sir.

I think I've been to most of the Portuguese stadiums that were built/renovated for the EURO's, all of which are spectacular, if sparsely populated. Braga's ground, the Quary, is probably my favourite I've visited, as it's just a bizarre experience to have an actual cliff face behind one of the goals, just mental. The Estadio Da Luz is definitely mey favourite for atmosphere though, it's like if the Emirates had a soul

Always wanted to go to Braga's ground - it just looks amazing. I love grounds that are a bit different, unlikely as it always was, I really wanted Chelsea to get Battersea Power Station, it just would have been the coolest ground in the country.

Does Wales count?
If so, Newport County v Bournemouth at Somerton Park 1984-85.

NO. Wales does not count. It never has and it never will. End of.

In addition to my original post:

England v Italy in Nantes & England V Brazil at Parc des Prince, Paris, 1997.

In between we were due to go to England V France in Montpelier until I realised my mate had brought the (wrong) tickets out for the Brazil game instead. We got off at Nimes and bought a load of food and beer before travelling back to Nice, where the hotelier had a good old chuckle at our expense.
