European super league

My biggest issue with the previous proposal was the lack of relegation and promotion.
If spurs finish bottom of the European super league and Bournemouth happen to have a big upturn in ability, Bournemouth should be replacing them in the super league even if they are a less fashionable club.
But if in your scenario Spurs are being relegated because of their finishing position in the Super League and not because of their finishing position in the Premier League, who’s to say it should be Bournemouth that replaces them and not a team from another league in Europe? It would become a convoluted mess in my opinion.

I’m all for reform of both domestic and European football, but qualification for European competition has to be from domestic competition in the previous season, not promotion and relegation from a Super League.

Let's not kid ourselves; it's going to happen sooner or later. Money talks. The question is; does the club want to be part of it? I would assume that they do. If for no other reason, the aforementioned money on offer.
As our form is going on spursy trajectory then our owners will be all over it!

Our inclusion had nothing to do with any other team, and far from being the last to be invited, we were one of the founding group who had a permanent league spot.
Certainly nothing to do with Bayern or any other club but I'm pretty sure we were very, very late to the party but the first to jump ship (possibly in a race with Chelsea leaving from memory).
