Someone going on to Platinum last season could've got 1000 loyalty points just for renewing and joining all 3 Cup schemes.

if this is a retort to my post then even this i dont agree with. a lot of people bought platinum because they didnt want to fall behind and miss out on the inevitable cup finals and big games we'll be attending in years to come.
buying loyalty just doesn't sit right with me.

It wasn't a direct retort to anyone. I was just stating a fact about how someone could immediately join the queue with 1000 loyalty points. 400 for the Platinum Card and 600 for 3 Cup Schemes. It doesn't sit right with me either!

I imagine so. Happy to be corrected if I'm wrong.

As long as your prepared to pay, you can. Probably take a lifetime of ST's to put you in a position where you could get a cup final ticket though........

1000 loyalty points is still a significant start over someone just buying a Gold Seasoncard on its own. You then get double loyalty points on all away tickets (can be bought for others).

Got to be honest I'll pay what it costs its not that big a factor, a years car tax and insurance is a lot more, or an away trip to Ajax for that matter and that's 1 game

Yes I could too but what about the people who can't afford to. For one game I paid £400 to see us play but not at the expense of any Blue.

thought the points on a plat card were as follows

380 purchase

600 if to sign up for all the cup schemes
+ 1000 one off for purchase of sc so first years = 1980 gets you off to a flying start

City have to be very careful how they pitch next seasons pricing. I for one have my limit and will not go over it. True it is the price of success but city have to remember the fans who stuck through them through the really shitty times and not just look at getting a load of JCL's.Hammer the corporates/hospitality areas. I was hoping for a freeze next season.
I actually don't think there will be many taking up this offer and I actually do not believe there are that many blues out there waiting to buy us out of our seats.
Times are tough, real tough for a lot of families (forgetting football) and for the club to keep increasing the cost is just ridiculous.[/quote]

Have to agree with that/ hope the club do not go down the road of ripping off the hardcore fanbase as that is the soul of city and would drive a nail deep in to some hearts/ will have to wait and see
