Ever Blue

Kind of sounds like the seat licences in America . Course those are for paying down debt, and this makes absolutely no sense. It sounds like you basically will end up having to pay extra every year to not lose your seat? Can't see too many people jumping at this opportunity but who knows

so its a seat for life!!!
am 45 with a gold season card!!!!!!
just say am going to sit in the same seat for the next 20 years!!!
and just its £600 per season thats £12000 upfront!!!!!!!!
looks like am selling a kidney!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What the survey thankfully confirms is that an expanded Level 3 will be open for 2015/16 with seats between £380 and £570 a season.

And the chance to Buy it Now with 2 free cup games for nowt for next 2 seasons. Also if you agree to pay up front you will get 1st shot at any season tickets that become available next year.

Just filled my survey in. The main point here is that you as the season ticket holder have to agree to be moved.I said fair enough so long as I get to choose which seat and a free season ticket for a year.
This will never happen. Chill out everyone

But it still says that the st holder has to agree to the sale
Why are the hyperbolic idiots missing this point?

Not sure that's true actually.

The wording of the survey suggested that the incumbent fans would have to agree to move if another fan expressly wanted their particular seats. So if you keep on buying your ticket, you don't move, full stop. But there's nothing to suggest that the club won't effectively force you out of your seat in the next season or two if they change the pricing a lot (and the facilities on offer). I think this will only affect people who currently sit in the best seats, but who are not willing to pay a substantially higher price in the future.

Personally, I can see a scenario where the club upgrades the Colin Bell and East stand sections of level 2 to some type of club membership similar to what is offered in the second tier at Arsenal. The prices go up, you get a slightly fancier bar and food, and only after these changes are made, the club then launches the EverBlue scheme.

Disgruntled punters who have had their seats in this area for years will as a result of the EverBlue scheme be offered some form of sweetener for moving, and the corporate/richer types can secure the best seats in the house for as long as they want by paying an extra sum (i.e. equivalent to a year's season ticket). So, the club can introduce higher ticket pricing, the disgruntled/displaced fans get some form of compensation (e.g. half price season ticket elsewhere), and the richer fans/corporates can have their pick of the seats for an extra sum which they are happy to pay.

Think of the scheme as a way to facilitate the changes the club want to make, rather than it being the cause of the change, if you know what I mean.

Just told them I'd give my seat up for free first class travel on Etihad airways for life, a small apartment in one of the Sheiks palaces and a seat on the board. So personally I cant wait for some bastard to claim my seat in level 2 east stand !

Crapest survey I have seen in a long time.doesn't, make much sense.you can only tick one from a very restrictive amount of options. It takes me all my time to decide whether I'm going to renew each year without worrying about the rest of my life.the life is slowly being sucked out of the match day experience. Can't see many of family stand being able to take up option .

I've done the survey. Not interested. But.....

1. There's nothing wrong with them looking to make more money, provided it doesn't disadvantage existing ST holders
2. At least they ask for feedback from fans before doing anything
