I took my kids, 6 and 8 years to a Vancouver Canadians Baseball game and I won $765 on a 50/50 draw. I told them, "don't tell mom I want to surprise her." Visions of a new Callaway Big Bertha driver coming my way back when they were $500.
The oldest says first thing when we got home, "Mom, Dad's got a pocket full of money!"
Then a week later I won another 50/50 draw at the stock car races for $185.
