Not really a surprise. The Toffees' form this season has been woeful at best.

Gollum? BFS? Personally, I would avoid those two like the plague and attempt to attract ap up-and-coming young manager.

Considering what Marco Silva has achieved in a very short time with both Hull and Watford, I would go for him, though whether the Hornets would allow Silva to talk to Everton is another thing.

Mancini would be a great shout for them. He ought to get the defence sorted, especially with a decent transfer budget. Everton fans might have to be patient for a while in terms of playing style just as we had to be, but we saw once the handbrake came off that we were great to watch going forward as well.

Telegraph saying Dyche is lined up, probably a realistic choice for Everton. Can't really fault the job he's done at Burnley but he'd be leaving one safe team for a team in a bit of trouble.

Whoever comes in is still going to need to buy a striker in January.
