I don't get where all this "the media want us to fail" stuff comes from. The media want stories, if we go out of a competition, it's one story about how the quad dream is over just like every other side in history, and then they have to find something else to write/talk about. The longer it stays possible, the longer they get to create throwaway content about the possibility of it happening, they would love for us to succeed, it would give them an entire summers worth of content.
And even if it was true, so what, it has no impact on the result, the media could spend the entire hour pre-match build up saying I hope city lose over and over, it has zero impact on the game. the only pressure it builds is in your own head, social media and amongst your circle of friends, the players don't spend their warm up listening to camel gob and nobody could put more pressure on the side to win than Pep and his demands.
