How can it be a strong team with Torres starting? He can join the play once we have a two goal lead.

I see what you are saying but it seems to me that Pep is trying to give him more game time again. Our strong defence and midfield could allow this to happen. The players coming in with him are also top notchers.

Having said all that, I always get the team selection wrong!

I think your mind is playing tricks, last two or three might have been exact scores but predicting City to win every time will have you right 30 out of last 31 times ... or something like that :) Even I don't remember what score lines I predicted for which game, but sure if you want to go back and make a table of all the games I have predicted and match them to what the actual scores were, do send it to me as well ... I highly doubt though that there'd be many exact scores :)

game ur predict actual score

thats 20 predictions. all 20 correct results. ok i take your point predicting city win everytime and city winning is easy. but thats also 10 correct scorelines out of 20. so maybe ur mind is playing treicks on you as i have been following your threads and predictions closely.

@MAG if I've understood the sub rule right, you can make a maximum of five subs, but you'd have to bring on two at the same time twice (and your other one a third time). Or you could bring on three together, and the other two at another point? Presumably this is to stop the abuse of purely tactical substitutions to slow the game right down?

It would be harsh on Steffen as he hasn't done anything wrong but part of me wants to see Ederson in goal from here on out because, simply put, it increases our chances of winning the competition.

However, squad harmony is important so I suspect Pep will stick with his policy of playing the second choice keeper in the domestic cups and it probably is the right call.

Yes, so basically you can sub FIVE players in total but the times you can sub them remains THREE other than the normal stoppage in the game (which is half-time). This is to stop having potentially TEN stoppages if both managers decide to do five subs each one at a time ... same is in Champions League so you saw last night we subbed two first, then another two together and then one, so five subs done but three stoppages.

I think Steffen plays remaining FA Cup games all the way ... and I also expect him to the in the goal against Spurs in the Carabao Cup final.

Wow, I didn't know that seriously. There is no logic or anything to my predictions ... I just base them on how last few games of each team have gone and then it's just a guess based on that. No science behind it really, that's why I didn't even remember what I predicted two or three games ago.

Everton have struggled at home this season and with Pickford ruled out and Olsen not certain to start under an niggling injury cloud they are looking at a third string or u23 keeper starting.

We need to take advantage of this.
