Pickford ruled out and Olsen not certain to start under an niggling injury cloud

I think Steffen is a good keeper, but Ederson is simply better and as we have a real chance of winning the lot this year, he should start. There should not be any niceties now. The best XI should start every game, simple as that. It would be no good going out of the competition because we felt sorry that Steffen hadn't had a go in net or that Mendy or Garcia should play because they've not played for a while. Ederson won't get tired legs like, say, Rodri might do as he just doesn't move much. I don't honestly see any reason why Steffen should start any game for us if Ederson is fit.

Everton are a decent team, but they are miles behind us. Ancelotti is no mug and they will give us a decent game but they are not going to see a lot of the ball. I think we will beat them 2-0 myself although there may be a few scares as they do have some decent players.

If we play well, we will win this game.

I think we'll see 5/6 changes again, tbh. Steffen, Zinchenko, Laporte, Fernandinho, Sterling and Jesus will probably start. Maybe Torres too.

It really shows how much strength in depth we have that we can make 7 changes of that quality and it doesn't even include Aké or Aguero.

Strongest possible line up, absolutely no need to rest anyone for the most important game this season right now with international break coming up.

Obviously Pep will change things around again. Maybe give Gundo, Berni and Phil the second half, that would certainly speed up our play and show those that they replace what they SHOULD be delivering.
The defence of Dias and Barnsley Beckenbauer should be there to bring a strong line.
Walker put some serious yards in v BMG, but he’s a tough cookie and probably deserves his place. Zinch or Laporte at LB, although I doubt we will do a back 3. It’s so difficult to choose these days. How lucky are we to have such a talented squad, all who want the same outcome!
I would really like to see Kun have at least a full half, to gauge his fitness, his work rate has to be as high as Berni and Phil.
Everton will kick, pull and dive every chance they get. Pass them to death. They got beat by Burnley so will be up for this.

Calvert-L & Smacked arse face Richarlison will be the pain we must nullify.

I used to think she was the best but she’s wrongly flagged for two offside goals that var over turned in our favour in her last two outings with us.

And Darren Cann has since won the jackpot on Pointless, must be worth something...
