Everton (A) | Game Postponed

As an Everton fan, the postponement is the correct decision.

Yes I can understand the calls for forefiting the game as an Italian team and Leyton Orient had to do, but for those screaming you should play the game, they need to look as the precident that was set with Newcastle not long ago.

Plus I wouldnt want you coming to goodison and playing us if its rife within the club at the moment as im sure you wouldnt want us turning up to the Etihad if the situation was reversed.

Shutting the training ground and trying to contain it is the correct thing to do.
 
Is it true that you may have caught it staying at a hotel in London for the Arsenal game or is that just a silly rumour?

I wasn’t making a personal qualification as to whether they are or are not.

In mo humble opinion, i agree with the people calling for the points to be awarded in this scenario. Lets not fool ourselves in to thinking we would give a shit about the issues of Everton or the rags. If this is to continue then the season will become a farce anyway, how many games would be postponed and played all together at the crunch end of the season. The club's was allowed to continue, lets be honest. because it was going to cost them to much to pay back the TV deals if a season was cut short. This rule should have been in from the start. Here is your squad, your staff.. Make sure they can play the game or forfeit the points, that way the likes of Walker running around the country and the bad headlines wouldn't happen, because they would have to actually be responsible for their actions. City are going to take all the flack because we absolute fannies when it comes to dealing with the media. we always cop for it and nothing changes. But teh argument should have happened before they started the season, At this point no one should be punished. but again that also leads to a farce.

Our players and staff have been sent in to tier 4 London by the footballing authorities in this country, we’ve stayed in a hotel in tier 4 London which now looks like it was rife with Covid, and now the footballing ‘media’ in this country have their pitchforks out for City because we’ve had the temerity to have positive Covid tests.

It’s bad form to wish ill on anyone, but I hope anyone that pens anything insidious about City (or any other club struck down by this virus) due to this is punished in the cruelest way possible.

Seen a lot of strange shit, particularly this year but the mighty Man United clutching desperately at straws as they’re scared to take on little City is something I never thought I’d see.

Any clubs supporters who think we should lose points/ games as a result of these events are just showing how frightened they are of us. Fuck em
