Everton (A) | Game Postponed

We only got test results on Monday morning, it's a bank holiday Monday, we might have told the PL right away, was it 7am or 11am (both are morning), do we have a clue who was working at the "PL" today (a bank holiday) ?

Is it a great surprise that there was a gap in the response ?
There's an answer that could make some sense. It might be for other reasons as well.

Not accusing, but I feel some aren't realising that my questions are inquisitive in nature, not necessarily about taking the opposing position. I'm a City supporter not a raging Twitterati hater of the club.

I've been asked repeatedly to defend positions I'm not even taking after I pose a question or scenario that COULD be possible.

Your response might explain it. Hope it's spot on.

However, did the PL have a protocol for this situation you present and was it followed? I really have no idea, but merely asking because it couldn't be too surprising that during the Christmas/Boxing Day fixture period this could happen.

playing devils advocate is it possible that Everton were alerted in the morning there was a possible problem but they’ll know more later & they’ll have to speak to all medical services to get best advice ahead of making a decision & that took until 4pm.

Rather than say we wish the club a speedy recovery, EFC thought they’d throw a bit of shit & hope to get 3 points awarded.

Anything is possible with low life scouse vermin.

we have serious medical problems and like their incestuous cousins play the victim card

The amount of times certain clubs have said certain players cannot play this week etc has they have a niggling injury. Quite a few in red. Legite or burying some covid related news

Imagine how Pep is feeling at the moment, considering his mother died of it
I believe now is the time to very politely advise some individuals via their employers that it would no longer be appropriate for them to ever benefit the Etihad match day experience in any capacity

Fcuk me, loads of cnuts on Facebook saying how dodgy City are , that Everton should get the 3 pts & we should be banned.
It's as if this pandemic only affects others and City are just lying, fcuk me

Everton’s statement is very poorly worded and I can only assume that the communication between the clubs before the Prem decision must have been hostile or non existent

Everton have to refund 2000 people and will have had paid for the nights security, policing etc.

They have seen their arse over the short notice peeiod by the sound of it and so them losing money, though I would hope cash is not deemed more important than peoples health.

They have seen their arse over losing money, nothing more cash is more important than peoples health aparently

In the great scheme of things - moaning about fck all!

I didn’t give that a lot of thought when I wrote it, your right, sorry if it came across as being a bit entitled but I can assure you I am anything but entitled, I was just trying to get the lads going as it turns out the game was called off. Let’s hope they all get better soon. Some things are more important than football, like your health.

No worries bud. We all make the odd mistake!

It's probably a bit poorly worded, the Everton statement, but they are well within their rights for full disclosure. Any club would if a game was cancelled at such short notice.

Let's hope anyone who has tested positive is ok and fighting fit soon enough.
