Everton (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

A controlled performance that worked. City stepped it up at the right time and took the points.

Everton are not easy to beat under Moyes and made it hard for City to get into their box for much of the game. City didn’t give up much in the way of opportunities. Ortega’s most notable save that I saw (missed first 20) would have been struck off for offside, I think, if it had gone in.

Bit frustrating to watch at times today but with our away record, sensible and safe can help create the platform on which to rebuild.

Very important win.

Believe it or not. I like O'Riely and believe he is a brilliant young talents. My argument is that he should not be use as defender but in the middle or wing. Every single praise given to him is not about his defensive skills but about his contribution in creating chances and scoring goals.
No way should he be put on the wing. Not another experiment.

GTFI.

Controlled for the majority. Could see them starting to slow, so we went for it.

Like most of our games when the opposition do well to keep us away from the goal. We’re now managing to get by it, which can only be good for the remainder of this, and next season.

Our game was A big disappointment,in first half....subs changed the team in much better...

Good 3 points considering it looked like heading for a 0-0 O’Reilly wow doesn’t look out of place and probably has been one of the few plus points this season, sometimes it’s ok to give homegrown youth a chance hopefully we see more during the club World Cup and next season if you’re good enough you’re old enough..

Missed the match but by all accounts didn't miss much

Three points is all I and anyone should give a fuck about at this point so it'll do for me

A nice little draw in the evening match would be lovely, or even a villa win
