Everton (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Not really sure what this has to do with what I put!

I do agree with everything you’re saying here, FYI, but them being thugs doesn’t necessarily take away from the fact that they still played well second half and deserved the point.

A red card would have obviously changed the game.
Just like the one that wasn’t given in the derby

Docku must be the most assaulted player without consequence in the PL
That number 15 pushed him and grabbed his shirt every time under instructions from moyes and Oliver knew it and allow it

That is the point. a 10 man everton playing the rest of the game changes everything

It was a shocking error, especially as he knows Donnarumma isn't great with his feet and given what he did against Arsenal. He could have turned or booted it anywhere instead he did what he did. Look Everton were gaining momentum but we'd weathered it a bit, gifting them that goal lifted the whole stadium and their players.
Hard to argue with any of that, at least we still fought back for a point, it could prove important.

It's crazy watching at times ? We go down the wings with Doku who was outstanding tonight by the way
But I can see it and everybody else can see it NO City players in the box ? Even Haaland to cross too. It's so easy to defend and all you do is go back.

When we go down the middle and play around the edge of the box, you can sense fear by the defenders
in the past 4 or 5 games all of our important goals have come shooting from down the middle and the edge of the box.

We have to learn another way of opening up teams because going out wide all the time is too easy to defend
I would like to see Haaland picking the ball up and running at defenders more, getting the defender on the back foot and making him turn with Haaland's pace and strength
I sat up and watched a re run of the treble season games last night. On comparison with today’s team, we had the experience and were fluid all over the pitch. At the moment our younger players are still finding their way. The future still looks bright, and if we can get the FA cup over the line we have done alright. We just have to accept that it’s finally looking like arsenal’s year, but great credit to the boys for pushing.

Had a feeling arsenal wouldn't get 3 points at West Ham, so we'll see how that pans out this weekend.

And all that list are fucking shite, that’s the most annoying thing
Everyone of those games was the same, get a goal, the just stop attacking.

We all watched every game and could see what was going to happen.

We need to give up attempting to control games, we’re not that team anymore, we have too many mistakes in the team to do it.

Just keep attacking and it goes how it goes.

Clear as day red card from a player intent of hurting an opponent !

Oliver cheated with the yellow !

Nobody should be surprised by that outcome, he's a 100% **** !

It's so bad that Doku is a very lucky lad not to be badly injured ? could have cost him more medals and a World Cup
The officials don't protect any of our better players, in fact, they put them in danger by not doing their job proper

Possibly but only if we beat Brentford and West Ham pull off a miracle and win. We'd be two.points behind with a game in hand. Beat Palace and it could get very interesting again.

Rodri is a genius, but what we miss especially when he doesn't play is the effortless switch of play to the left and right flanks - precision diagonals that Doku in particular is always alive to. Today, Moyes absolutely saturated the flanks with the watering system. Semenyo, who started well for me kept slipping over. His side got away with murder.

I can. I’m a negative football fan. I’m the first to admit. I’ve even poked fun at myself on here on numerous occasions about my reactionary and miserable posting.

In one compartment if my life I’m negative. I vent.

It’s not my entire character. It’s the few minutes of my day I vent on a football forum designed for venting.

For you to presume things about me away from here indicates that actually this forum is a much bigger part of your life than mine. Which is quite sad.

But not as sad as your abuse. Again, you seem a pathetic, obstinate keyboard warrior.

Why not just wipe your eyes and go to bed, because you are correct and I'm taking no notice of Your explanation. I am obstinate, but I am also a City supporter who accepts the ups and downs in performances. That is the difference I observe in our inputs to the forum.

Your input has been as predictable and expected as it always is.

You can't help it because you are just a miserable sod, who never sees anything positive in what City do, despite your so-called allegiance to the club.

Good night !

We might have had a bad spell but to suggest we'd thrown the towel in is pathetic.
At 3-1 down, and what looked like a total collapse at that point in such an important game, is anything but pathetic, and a lot of those city fans would have been absolutely gutted ... at that point you could ONLY see more Everton goals coming.

It was only when city finally decided to show a bit of fight 7 minutes from time that things looked up again, but a lot of the fans had already decided enough was enough.

I've seen City do amazing things over the last 15 years and coming back to win the title from here would probably rank 4th on the amazing things list.

It ain't over. Not by a long shot.

Everton moaning tossers.

Anyway, Rodri problem again?

As soon as he is injured for more than 2/3 games we look rudderless. It’s an Achilles heel. Need an aggressive tackler in beside him to make up the ground when he is injured.

It’s such a shame but we won a lot with Rodri and without the team is weak. I fucking knew this Everton result was coming with him not coming back. The team can’t cope and the players who come in can’t do a good enough job holding the fort.

Rodri is why no league, not Everton and not a decent arse side.

I'm still relaxed about it all. Tonight was disappointing obviously, but I'm not sure it was a surprise, and I'm not sure it's fatal yet either.

However, we've won a trophy, and we can STILL win 2 others, we might not, but it's still a good season with a virtually new squad if we don't

That will.upset a few on here !

City have now dropped the joint-most points from winning positions in the league since the turn of the year along with Spurs and Barcodes…yet we are still in with a shout!

Been a crazy season that’s not over yet…but we appear to be trying hard to end the battle for the League title!!
