Everton (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Read the law yourself.

I agree with the pundits - for once.

They put a massive screen up with about 4 points of the law involving that incident. Everton player didn't "break" one of them.

Its all on Guehi
But that's not the law, it's the interpretation of the law by the idiots in charge. The Everton player was offside when the through ball was played and the linesman should have raised his flag. This re-refereeing of the game by the so-called experts in VAR is a fucking disgrace.

Lost the plot after the non red card. With the Law of Averages it had to happen at some point. Still Arsenal gave us a sniff of a title and are not the all conquering side the Media are portraying them as.
They haven't won anything yet.

He should have grabbed his shirt and yank the fcker down like Everton players were doing all game! Sliding in trying to win the ball being honest is not the way! Small margins we miss out on every game because we to fucking nice honest!
Yes can you imagine what Fernandinho would have done - thou shall not pass and I will take the yellow for the team!

I can’t wrap my head around people being comfortable with games and performances like tonight just because we didn’t ’expect’ to be in this position during a rebuild.
Not sure anyone is comfortable with it, maybe just got used to it over the course of this season. We've done it countless times being shite in the second half.

Remember your also allowed headbutt people too.

Also allowed pull Semenyo hair.

Also allowed stick your studs down Doku knee.

I could continue. He was fucking offside. He continued to chase the ball down from an offside position, Guehi only played the ball because he was being closed down...that man was in an offside position.

Absolute joke.
Genuinely don’t get the rule. I understand not blowing the whistle too early because if you do, you ruin a goal scoring opportunity (Haaland last year I think?), but if he’s offside, he’s offside, and as others have said, Guehi has no reason to make that pass.

Total control to shitting the bed to late late brilliance. Not sure how I feel about that tbh. Silly mistakes from nervousness of pressure.
We still have around a 25% chance of winning the league though and after last season I’d of been happy if someone said you’ll do a domestic cup double which I think we will.
Poor show from those plebs leaving early though, get a grip blues!

I don't know what was going, who was at fault for this, but it was definitely a communication breakdown in the 2nd half today. Loads of times we had players playing back when they had so much space to turn into, then players holding onto the ball too long under pressure.

Even Cherki was doing it at times which was just weird, that guy normally exploits any space, but at least a couple of times the ball was played into him, in space, and he popped it back first time when there was no need.

And the third goal was tight, probably onside but no replay. Second one was a foul on Khus for me.

You'd think with all the coaching team we have there would be someone responsible for checking that all the guys have the correct studs/blades on.
It's irresponsible. Half the team slipping a number of times.

Guess if the goons finally win the league it will stop that goofy rag twat winning POTY.
