Everton (A) Post Match Thread

At times it’s like we click into overdrive and we are working the ball around the penalty area with little short passes and we are gliding. It happened for both the 2nd and 3rd goals. Like when your hair stands on end in the second or so before you are struck by lightning; you can feel the goal is coming moments before it does.

Fantastic

Tough nut to crack first half were Everton, and the FA Cup game there isn’t going to be easy.
Thought by the end all of our lads came through with the necessary qualities of commitment and skill to get us the win, esp Bernardo. Walker at some fault for their goal but redeemed himself in rest of game I thought. The only individual performance of concern for me was Laporte.
A really pleasing win that one. On we roll to London on Sunday :-)

We're enjoying as good a run of performances as we might ever see as City fans
Its unreal
Enjoy it while it lasts, i'm excited about what the remaining few months of this season might bring

On the game itself, i thought if i was to pick faults in the performance that Laporte was a bit shaky. No Stones no clean sheet
Some of Jesus' play outside the box was brilliant, but finishing continues to be his problem.
Rodri continues to get better and better

How do we fit Gundongan and De Bruyne back into this side. Not even to mention the clubs greatest ever striker

This is possibly the best city side ever and we’ve seen a few. Class again. Please don’t ever doubt Pep ever again. We are top of the league above the hateful 8 haha take it take it. Let’s never forget those spiteful horrible clubs. Pep can have the freedom of Manchester. Stay for life. Enjoy blues everywhere
