It did look funny I must admit and I rate Pickford. He could have done better on Haaland's header and Gundo's free kick though.

Haha. I’ve always noticed this with keepers after hearing Ben Foster comments about a goal Rodri(?) scored against him. He said it was in before he even saw it go past him but keepers dive anyway to avoid looking like stationary knobs.

I can’t unsee it now, keepers very rarely just stand still regardless of a shot going in, wide, over the top etc.

My first ever league away game and probably my favourite ever away day. Everton fans fair play, were as someone else said really complimentary about us and share the dislike of both the red shite.

Gundogan is a magician, Haaland is a beast.

City fans amazing, atmosphere was rocking from start to finish.

How was Pickford's assault on Haaland not a pen??

I'm guessing it was throwing himself to the floor holding his face when Laporte hit his hand away from holding him. He also had something going on with Jack.

Mina did his best to play like rudiger sadly haaland was just laughing at his attempts and minas a clown doing his best to wind up haaland .....nope!!

Not often I see city having a lower XG than the opposition. Only saw the highlights on the city site so not sure how many good chances Everton created apart from two at the beginning. But feel relieved that at least one trophy’s on the bag.
