Whilst the strong character we demonstrated in the last 2 games was exactly what was needed after the Liverpool game, it's hardly been a return to the glory days. The run at the start of the season and the confidence it generated was superb, if we could achieve something like that in the run up to Monaco/United then it can hopefully set the last few months of the season up well.

Just hope Stones stands up to the horrendous scouse abuse better than Sterling did , maybe the bluedips will be too concerned about giving Stones grief and forget about actually getting behind their team .Can see this being a nastier atmosphere than usual , if we can avoid doing the usual and conceding in the 1st ten minutes this game could be over by half time , would love to see jesus come on at some point so the media can witness the second coming

There's been a lack of consistency, not just in terms of results but also performances and application, hence the Liverpool comment. Think we have to have higher expectations than what we've achieved I the past 5/6 weeks
