Their lad who came on as a sub with 15 minutes or so left, at our place?

I hope to fuck he isn't playing. He ripped us to shreds on Walker's side and should have started.

Would like to see Sane back in the team and Bernardo in midfield, with Dave rested for Sunday.

Probably. But their raised game should not get in the way us us beating them, as long as we play to our standard. We are a much better team than them, and we have more to fight for then they do.
I know but I don't go along with the idea that EFC will roll over. They are under huge pressure themselves and this is an opportunity for them to have a go at City.

These type of games remind me of the time we were in Everton's shoes as Leeds came to Maine Rd who were vying with Man Utd for the title and we went and beat them 4-0.

Our full backs worry me, I'd rather see Laporte at LB and Danilo at RB for this one, Stones and Ota CBs.

Hate playing Everton. These bastards still seem to treat us as a cup final and the whole club seems to have a huge chip on its shoulder about us.

We have to be right up for this from the start tonight, no half-arsed slow passing or they'll press us and get the scousers in the crowd screeching their shitty grand old team bollocks. Obviously no favours expected from the officials either. Another early goal needed then keep at them, no easing off. I never want to see a repeat of the Palace and Newcastle debacles.

Their main GOT forum pre match thread has Evertonions already waiving the white flag of surrender. Many have said they expect us to thrash them and quite a few said will cheer our goals. Bizzare perhaps, but not when you realise their hatred of Liverpool. Many are still bitter about Liverpool 'wall pushers' at Heysel in 85 resulting in English clubs being banned 5 years in Europe. Everton fans are still aggrieved they were denied a chance to compete in the European cup having won the league in 85 and 87.

The ironic thing is red dippers taunt them about never winning the European cup and they've done it 5 times laaa.

The general notions within a football fan base are many and varied. My lad would have settled for 0-15 a few weeks ago when The Dippers were seven points clear, but he wants Marco to stay and another toothless display won't go down well with Moshiri. He's more desperate for a City win when we play anybody but EFC than I am!! I'm hoping that EFC do well tonight but not as well as us!! As Pep says "GD will be important!" So top performance from both teams and fifteen goals for our GD!

Look Newby, they said that Newcastle, Leicester and Palace would be easy wins. Everton will have a day extra to prepare and always treat City as a cup final. If we manage to scrape a narrow win with no injuries or red cards, I will be very happy.
Why the derogatory comments because he is new to the forum? Everybody has an opinion, just coz he's being positive and obviously you're not.

What we must avoid is getting the first goal only to concede an equaliser, as we have done lately.

If we open the scoring, than a second goal for us is crucial.

It was like that in 2014 too.
They still celebrated like normal when barkley smashed one in

I remember playing Leeds in 1992 and Blackburn in 1995, knowing that if we won it'd give United an advantage in the title race. I had mixed emotions before the games, but as soon as the whistle went I was 100% behind City. Pleasingly, City won both games but United failed to win the title on each occasion!
