Amounts to the same thing? I get that we all have an idea before the lineup is announced but people are now saying it’s a more difficult game, or this play is not suited to that role, and not playing that player is a mistake. That’s questioning Guardiola. Which is ****ish. IMO of course.

We should put our best foot out in the league as a matter of priority for so many reasons, not least because:

If we slack up today the gap could be 8 points
We are in the group stage of the CL with relatively easy opposition and its not crunch time yet

But we are not doing that. Aguero has to be playing and Gundogan should not if our last away league match has anything for us to learn from.

All I can say at this point is good luck City.

Gundogan is a fantastic player. Some people argue he was pivotal to our winning streak last season and deserves the respect his performances demand. Other people think he’s shit, but City fans always need a scapegoat
