You have to earn the title of 'rival', and you've done nothing so far to earn it, so no, you're not. We've had 13 injuries to first team players this season, and we're still within a shout of City. With a fit squad, we are still light years ahead of you, and the last match showed that despite our injuries. This season is your best chance of hitting top 4, as both Everton and Liverpool have had problems, but fail this year, and you can forget it next year.
I wouldn't say that. After finishing 10th last season we still managed to sign Adebayor, Barry, Santa Cruz, Lescott, Tevez and Toure. If we finish 5th this year i reckon we'll easily outdo that.

Hell, we might even take Arteta off you.

13?

Onuoha
Richards
Toure
Lescott
Bridge
Johnson
Petrov
Swp
Ireland
Bellamy
Tevez
Adebayor
Rsc
Robinho

All been out, you just dont hear us winge like you lot. Typical Scouser's.

You lot have got way too big for your boots.

What you are is a rich club.

What you are not is a big club nor a successful club.

New Chelsea.

There is certainly an element of truth about we might be getting ahead of ourselves, being abit too cocky and the rest...... but our owner seems to be in it for the long haul. Same as 'money can't buy you love' read 'money dosen't buy success'. Two big whoppers said by the have nots.

What has pissed me off is that until 18 months ago the best football chats I had was with the 5 or 6 Everton fans I know very well (season ticket holders and lots of away games). However their attitude towards City has done a 180 turn, always putting City down and the usual shit about history, trophies, mercenaries, ad fucking nauseum.

So please go back to Grandoldteam because we have heard it all before.

Maybe some fans have, but you're completely generalising here, most City fans are just optimistic and excited about the future. The club has been through some crap down the years, particularly the mid-90's, a dark period where United were winning everything under the sun, while we were languishing. Now though, it looks like a new dawn for the club.

We are a rich club, of course.

It depends what your view of a big club is. Do you see Wigan as bigger than Leeds, or Nottingham Forest? To me, lots of things play a part when determining how big a club is; history (which we have), fanbase, trophies both past and present, crowd attendances, and footballing tradition. We have all those, except success in recent times, but yeah, I'd say generally we're a big club.

We're nothing like Chelsea. The only comparison is, that we've been bought by wealthy owners/owner.

Of course all other teams fans are bitter & critical of US!! I used to hear 'em say ''poor olde liddle city, but I like 'em'', cos we were no threat. Now of course, yes like Chelski, we acquired a Toyboy 'Sugar Daddy', every fans dream come true. Finally a chance to buy great players & watch great footie. For the past 25-28 years we have yo-yoed in every sense of the word & now has the final pieces are in place to re-live those great moments ( 1900's, 1936 title, 1950's & 1967-1977ish! )Who says we have no history!!
WE LOVE CITY - end of!!

i was just wondering due to the amount of threads by these visiting everton fans, are we there main rivals now liverpool are in the gutter 'there new derby' now i know everton beat man united but normally they roll over and tickle sir alex's bollox while telling him just how large they are so that neck of the woods is closed for them.are they looking for a little glory at our expence before we conquer the world
