Everton Away and Kids

me and 3 of my mates got chased by a load of little scouse cunts when we were 14/15. the dippers were slightly older or the same age. they chased us around goodison park about 3 or 4 times until the turnstiles were open and we ran straight in. it was like the keystone cops. this was the season when gaudino scored in a 1-1 draw.

Are there buses going back to Sandhills after the game? Would hate to get lost and be "Approached by a local gangster." He might bum me.
only if you're lucky

Goodison Park is dangerous for home fans never mind away fans. There was a shooting less than a mile away from GP only a few days ago. I'd recommend you know where your going, you don't want to end up down the back streets around Breck Road and Geordie was stabbed there a few years ago for getting into an arguement with a local gangster. If you walk round a groups of 4 you'll be more than alright. If you on your own and stick out as an outsider you could get into trouble. There's not hostility near the ground but I'd advise some level of caution after the game, because thats when the scallies start coming out. Generally the area's around Anfield and Goodison are dangerous if your not from those areas. I've known people to be appraoched round those areas and asked where their from and what their doing round there and you've just got to hope you give them the right answer. Overall you'll receive little or no hostlity from Everton fans far from it, around the local area you'll find hostility from everyone. Most people in Liverpool won't walk round Breck Road and Kirkdale after a certain time. Don't judge our supporters by the area we play in.

Not missed everton or liverpool game in years. No problems ever encountered or seen...it certainly isnt the same as it was in the 80's but neithers city. Eastlands is exactly in the nicest area of Manchester nor was maine rd. Dont know why people are scarmongering!! you will see loads of city shirts / scarfs around the ground.
We park in stanley park in the big car park - well manned and organised about £7. You then walk the 10mins to the ground - as its the away fan route (coaches park there) it is well policed and very safe.
If your on the train jump a taxi with some other blues £7 ish, though you may struggle afterwards to do same.
The only problem you will have is whether your 8 year old will see the game - its really cramped in the stands, pillars obstructing views and as usual at city aways (apart from chelsea!!) everyone will be standing. Took my lads several times to merseyside and wouldnt hesitate again.

All I'm merely pointing out is if something happens it's highly unlikely it's got anything to do with Everton fans as a whole. Newcastle fans still bleet about it on the forums whenever they play us.

OK fella.
Hope you would agree though that the Stanley Park carpark and route to the ground from there is pretty straight forward, well policed and trouble free?
Enjoy the game, looking forward to it and its about time we beat ya!!!
