With this the first game against Everton in the space of a month I think we need to box smart and not risk Aguero or Silva in this match.
A draw would be a good result away at Goodison in what could be a kicking match.
We simply shouldn't risk Aguero or Silva as they get zero protection from referees and will lead to another injury.
Contain Lukaku, win the midfield and counter with pace will be 3 of the key areas in this match!
We will require a dominant performance from Mangala and Otammendo in this match to contain Lukakau, selecting Demichellis is simply not an option against his devastating pace, strength and direct powerful running.
I would start Iheanacheo, give the lad a chance ffs, supported by Sterling and Navas Nacho could potentially have a magical day

How does he not know that their stadium is called 'The Emirates'. If that is not oil money (and a country that reportedly funds ISIS), I don't know what is.
Emirates are based in Dubai which has bugger all oil.

Dubai certainly don't fund ISIS as they can barely fund themselves. They were rescued from default after Abu Dhabi bailed them out a few years back.

He is still an Arsenal roaster mind.

Play our best team.

This will be a fcuking hard game. Strong mentality. Tough minds. Experienced game management. No shrinking violets - you listening Sterling?

Fight fire with fire right from the off & right through the game. They will run their bollocks off,if we don't match their physical commitment in both legs it could all go tits up.

This isn't their semi....this is their final & they still hate us,the jealous, small time dippers.

1-1

It's doing in my head in seeing people advocating shit teams with kids being "given a chance", and players "not being risked" for this game.

It shouldn't happen and it won't happen, so why are people dreaming? This is an enormous and difficult game, not some fucking 2nd round home tie against Wycombe Wanderers.

The worst thing will be if someone picks up an injury. You can guarantee Pellegrini will be castigated for "risking them unnecessarily". You don't rest players or blood kids in the semi final of a cup competition.

I'd like to see some youth players involved against Norwich, but I'm not holding my breath. We've got an almost fully fit squad now, and Pellegrini will look to utilise it, rightly or wrongly.
