Everton (Away) C1 SF 1st Leg : Pre Match Thread

I just get the feeling with City at the moment that we'll play well for about 10-20 minutes and average to poor for 70-80 minutes. What score that will translate to is anyone's guess. We are capable of scoring 3 goals in a 10-20 minute blitz. But also more than capable of making 3 goals be nowhere near enough during our inevitable shit period of the match. A 1 goal defeat or better leaves us in with a great chance.

Thought i would share this.

Away goals rule: If the aggregate score is level at the end of the second game, an extra 30 minutes will be played. If the aggregate score is level at the end of extra time, the team who has scored the most away goals will go through to the final. If the aggregate score is level at the end of extra time, the game will go to a penalty shoot-out.
This is why 0-0 in Goodison Park ISN'T a good result for us. If, in the second leg, Everton gets a goal, we MUST put at least 2 to go through.

We need to attack them. Their defence is average at best and can easily be dragged all over the place, while Gareth Barry can be easily subdued by an early booking. Good movement from the front 4 should tear them to shreds, while keeping the ball away from our defence. I just hope to god we don't play Demichelis, as Lukaku would eat him alive
