It's unlikely we'll make big changes for a game like this but it will be interesting if Toure plays. We played Liverpool trying to use Yaya's passing accuracy as a way of blowing them out and it massively backfired on us. Was that a one off? I think Pellegrini might put Yaya on the bench and then bring him on in the 2nd half.

Thanks for the information about Sane. I hear Hernandez has been playing really well for Bayer Leverkusen.

Hernandez is doing well, a bit too center forward for us I think. But a nice killer instinct.

Yeah, Liverpool WAS a one off. Not only Yaya's fault. Fernando instead of Dinho, Demi as CB. Caught on the break. Unlucky own goal. What a day...
At the moment Yaya is in form. And he always wants to start. I guess he will tomorrow. I hope the score allows him not to play for 90 mins.

I really hope we score first. Turning every match around is fun to see for me - but too much for the players' legs...

Has the makings of being a memorable trip tomorrow night.Lot of us getting down there early doors, more fans than usual and they'll be well up for it. I can even take a narrow defeat tomorrow as long as we score, all i ask is we look up for it from the first whistle, if i see us strolling around not looking arsed until we go 2/3 down with 10 minutes left and then decide to put the effort in i'll be mightily pissed off.

Tempo, tempo, tempo.

If we show this we win. Watching last night's Stoke game, they played like we play away if we can't be arsed. They lost with a whimper, we mustn't fall into that trap.

A lot of games have played since we last played Everton and no doubt Martinez will have watched back - like most if not all sides in the second half of the season - the games we played against Spurs, Liverpool, Stoke etc.. and see how vulnerable we can be to sides that show plenty of energy and press intensely.

Everton will want to win the tie today if they can and I reckon we will see a real intense performance from them later on.

I wouldn't underestimate next weeks league game against them as well. If they come to our place next week and come out of it feeling confident and are taking a decent result into the second tie we have to be aware of it.

If the result after tonight is even or in favour of Everton the league game could be where the second tie is won as psychologically it could be huge if Everton win or draw the league game.

But basically they are crap

If the man city team show the same sort of arrogance toward team's. It's no wonder your away form is shocking...

By the way Everton are nowhere near crap and you could be in for a nasty surprise tonight...

Very odd that someone who supports another team is on another clubs forum at 8 in the morning
