Re: Biggest game of the season so far?

The biggest game this season was the derby.

We should have won, and would now be 6 points behind.

Apparently Tevez is absolutely fine and will be playing today.....
You just never know.
I suppose we will in about half an hour.
I hope you're right.

Here's the sky article but we know what t***s they are!!

Manchester City will be without Argentine strike duo Sergio Aguero and Carlos Tevez for the trip to face Everton at Goodison Park (kick-off 12.45pm).
Aguero has failed to recover from a knee injury and will continue his recovery with his national team ahead of the World Cup qualifiers against Venezuela and Bolivia, while Tevez has tight hamstrings.
Vincent Kompany is not expected to be fit either, having missed the last seven matches with a calf injury.
The champions will also be without Jack Rodwell, whose hopes of playing against his old club were ended when he limped off against Aston Villa earlier this month with a recurrence of a hamstring injury.
Everton are still without first-choice goalkeeper Tim Howard with a back problem, so Slovakian stand-in Jan Mucha will continue to deputise.
Phil Jagielka is also out with an ankle problem and will see his place taken by John Heitinga.
Tony Hibbert will miss out with a calf injury, meaning Seamus Coleman keeps his place at right back.

Manchester City FC ‏@MCFC

Yaya Toure is unwell. Nothing serious, but bad enough to keep him out unfortunately. What do you think of the team? #evertonvcity #mcfc

Re: Everton Vs City Pre Match Discussion Thread

looks good for me the team but no yaya could be key to the midfield

Any side with Kolarov starting never looks good

Re: Everton Vs City Pre Match Discussion Thread

Somehow don't expect it to be pretty this afternoon. We'd do better to have them come out at us and then try and catch them on the break, rather than try to press too high up. The midfield will be attritional, as always.

Re: Everton Vs City Pre Match Discussion Thread

Our vaunted squad depth is a bit of a myth for me... that is one of the slowest teams you could ever put together, it's going to be really tough this.
