Everton Away

This match is half price, what is that about? Crystal Palace away at 4 o'clock on a Sunday is full price, Everton 40 minutes up the road is half price. That will almost certainly mean that people who would normally give a miss will decide to go at the expense of others. Looks like this will be the first time I've missed out on Everton away, the only positive is we always loose, I'll settle for missing it if we win!
Bizarre isn't it?! Surely a trip over 200miles away on a Sunday should take precedence over a local match for the half price deal. I was thinking Souths Palace Norwich and any London trips that are night games (like Spurs was) would be part of that deal. You can be in Liverpool in half 35-40mins.

I really hope they've secured 4th when we play then they remember who got English teams banned from Europe the last time they qualified ;-)

-- Mon Apr 14, 2014 9:41 pm --

I really hope they've secured 4th when we play then they remember who got English teams banned from Europe the last time they qualified ;-)

2005? They got 4th then and were knocked out before the group stage.

Therefore they will be trying their best for 3rd if any sense to avoid the same possibility.

Supply and demand I'm guessing, more money to be made from London games.

Eh? Visiting teams don't get a share of the gate receipts for league games.
